Our wide range of qualified and committed coaches support new and experienced CrossFit athletes in delivering our scheduled classes and 1:1 training.
Whilst all of our coaches are at least level 1 CrossFit certified we have selected a team of individuals who have demonstrated their commitment to health and fitness through additional qualifications and coaching experience. We actively support the continuous development of our Coaching Team to provide them with the knowledge and skills to help you at every stage in your fitness journey.
The biogs below demonstrate the diverse range of skills and experience across our team and how they might support you in achieving your training goals with us.
I started CrossFit two years ago out of sheer competitiveness with my younger sister. I tried one class with her and I was hooked! I love the sense of community that is so integral to Crossfit. I love the fact that Crossfit challenges me and brings balance to my life. I’m addicted to the feeling of physical, mental, and emotional strength that comes from catching a heavy barbell.
I love coaching because I get to help others push themselves and perform feats of strength and endurance of which they had no idea they were capable. I find helping someone increase their squat numbers from week to week or seeing a coaching cue transform someone’s snatch incredibly satisfying.
Before CrossFit, I was a self-professed cardio and yoga bunny. Now I can usually be found in the corner of the box practising Olympic Weightlifting or working through the Starting Strength programme.
I believe that a solid strength foundation is the key to any performance or weight loss goals. Whether it’s improving your deadlift or clean or simply getting your first pull-up, I can help you develop the strength to improve your overall CrossFit performance.
I have been in the fitness industry for 14 years, starting out as a personal trainer. I am also an amateur boxer. I have always enjoyed coaching 1-1 and groups. I’ve trained in various concepts including Pilates, spinning, circuits, UFC Fit and Crossfit Level 1. A few years ago I started working for a gym who’s equipment resembled at ‘PT playground’ with fitness frames, Olympic lifting platforms, and a whole host of awesome functional kit that you just don’t see in mainstream gyms. There is where my passion started I started training with a coach and working my way through the WOD’s. As a boxer I have always enjoyed a challenge and pushing myself to the limit. This is what I loved about Crossfit alongside the technical aspect of lifting. I absolutely love seeing people get sucked into it as I did and watching people improve week to week from coach potatoes to an athlete within their own right.
I also have a huge passion for food and nutrition. I am a certified Advanced Sports and Exercise Nutritional Advisor with the Health Sciences Academy. What and when you eat are important considerations when it comes to sports performance. Whether you are a competitive athlete or just enjoy regular workouts, a healthy diet will help you train with greater levels of energy, increase your strength and stamina and recover faster between workouts. It can delay the onset of fatigue during training and help improve personal bests.
I have worked with a wide spectrum of clientele. My aim with everyone is to teach them about food and nutrition and their training in a realistic, practical, interesting way.
I am a strong advocate of science-based advice and am skeptical of anything bearing unsubstantiated claims. I do not sell any nutritional product or supplements. I believe that physical activity should be integral in everyone’s lives no matter how old they are.
As mentioned I am an amateur boxer and as a competitive athlete myself I have also gained knowledge from my own personal experience. I understand the importance of athlete’s diet and how to ensure it provides enough energy and nutrients to fuel hard training and promote rapid recovery whilst maintaining body weight within safe boundaries for health and performance.
When I advise anyone on their nutrition and programming I monitor their weight and body composition and provide education and training to each athlete. I create customised diet and exercise training programs tailored for each individual, no matter what shape they are in. We all have different lifestyles, work schedules, eating routines and health/fitness goals. Everyone needs support and guidance to succeed in reaching their goals no matter who you are. I’ve been involved in the strength and conditioning field for the past 20 years, both as an athlete and coach. In my teenage years I started out by doing bodybuilding but soon moved towards powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting and have had the pleasure and fortune to train with and be coached by top international athletes and coaches such as Pantelis Filikidis and Dino Marcuz. I am still an active competitor in the Masters’ category and have held the British title for 3 consecutive years (’10, ’11 & ’12).
As a personal trainer and coach, I specialise in a number of fields including weight loss and weight gain management, strength and conditioning, speed and agility, increasing flexibility and raising energy levels. I also coach Olympic Weightlifting in schools and CrossFit gyms in central and greater London. I see far too may people training for years on end without getting the results they want. Motivating yourself isn’t always easy and the next step takes knowledge and guidance. Whether you want to improve your Olympic weightlifting and CrossFit WODs or increase your cardiovascular fitness, strength and flexibility in a fun and challenging environment, together we will design a fitness and nutritional plan tailored to your ability, needs and time requirements. And we will get there.

My aim is to make this fitness experience all about you. I have one very simple promise: to do all I can for you, all of the time. Personal training should be exactly that, it should be training based around your individual needs and goals. That is why all of my program designs and training sessions are unique depending on our agreed direction. We will plot your start point, your desired end point and a time frame for reaching your goals.
This will allow us to track your progression and keep you in line to achieve your desired fitness levels. Depending on your specific requirements this could take place over 6 months or it could take as little as 2 weeks. I have used this method over my 13 years of training and have had great success with all of my dedicated clients.
