Scott and Emma Tudge
As a husband and wife duo with a young family and a passion for delivering the best fitness service in London we understand how hard it can be to make your own fitness and wellbeing a priority. We are dedicated to making your experience with us the best hour of your day, every time you train. Scott has over 16 years’ experience in the fitness industry and a Master’s degree in Biomechanics as well as being one of only a handful of Level 3 CrossFit coaches in London. He also holds CrossFit certificates in Gymnastics, Kids, Weightlifting and Endurance Training. Emma does not claim to bring Coaching Knowledge to the party but her experience in running successful businesses and her own aversion to training if it isn’t fun and engaging brings a balance to the dynamic of our partnership.
Head Coach Holloway
Dadi Hahn Sveinbjarnson
Dadi is well known in the CrossFit world as a 3 times CrossFit Games athlete. Prior to this Dadi work in Iceland’s film industry and is walking testament to the benefits CrossFit Training for a healthier happier life. Dadi is a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer and holds a range of CrossFit certificates in strength training, scaling and running as well as having over 5years experience as a coach and personal trainer. Dadi programmes our strength sessions based on the Westside Barbell Conjugate method and regularly runs strongman seminars and in-house competitions.
Head Coach Kilburn
Originally from New Zealand, Dan has more than 18years experience coaching and training individuals and groups in CrossFit and functional fitness. Don’t ask Dan a question you don’t want an honest answer to; he was born without the ability to BS you on your health and fitness. The good news is he has all the knowledge and skills to help you reach your fitness goals. Dan is a Level 2 CrossFit coach and holds a range of strength and conditioning qualifications including the CF Weightlifting and CF Gymnastics certificates. Dan leads the CrossFit programming for Evolving as well as the development of the Kilburn coaching team.
General Manager and Coach Kilburn
Nicole’s duel role combines her knowledge and experience in managing and delivering high quality services with her passion for and expertise in coaching. Nicole recently passed the new CrossFit Level 2 test and adds this qualification to a string of other CrossFit and Yoga credentials. She is also an experienced competition judge having worked at the European Championships as well as many others across the UK and Europe – she brings a similar rigour for technique to every class. Nicole also leads our Yoga for CrossFit programme at Kilburn
Coach Holloway and Kilburn (Specialties, Weightlifting and Mobility)
Matteo joined our team in October having relocated to the UK after 3years of CrossFit and 5 years of functional fitness Coaching in Ancona Italy. Having started his strength training on the bodybuilding side of things, Matteo found a love of CrossFit whilst living in Milan. Since then he has competed in a number of local and regional functional fitness competitions in Italy and built up a strong CV of CrossFit and Fitness Coaching qualifications including CrossFit Weightlifting and the CrossFit Level 2 certificate. He is also a passionate advocate of incorporating mobility drills in to every session.
Senior Coach Kilburn (Specialties; Gymnastics and Strength)
Danny prides himself on his uncanny ability to pick the best sound track to make training the best hour of your day, every visit. In addition to this amazing ability Danny brings a wealth of CrossFit and coaching experience. He holds a range of CrossFit and industry recognized qualifications including the CrossFit Level 2 and Gymnastics specialty certificates. Not the natural gymnast or most mobile man, Danny walks the walk in his dedication to addressing his own areas of weakness in training.
Coach (Specialties Weightlifting and CrossFit Kids)
Max joined us at the start of 2018 from Poland. He has over 5 years of CrossFit Coaching experience and 3 years experience of coaching children and teens. This experience is backed up by a range of CrossFit qualifications including the CrossFit Level 2 certificate. A former judo competitor tuned weightlifter he’s well placed to help you develop all areas of your fitness. Max leads our CrossFit Kids programme at Holloway and Kilburn and coaches a range of CrossFit, Strength and Weightlifting classes across the two Evolving boxes. In addition Max is often on the front desk and happy to help with any queries you may have about starting or progressing on your CrossFit journey.
Coach (Specialties Aerobic Capacity)
Manuele joined our team in January 2017 having trained with us since the summer of 2016. He holds a range of CrossFit coaching qualifications including most recently the CF-L2 trainer certificate. You might find him at the front desk in Holloway ready to share his fitness knowledge with you or help you decide the best option to protect your hands from the bar and rig or also help with your membership questions. You are equally as likely to see him coaching your session and helping you develop your aerobic capacity. Manuele has a true skill of being able to strategise for the best results and a real professional empathy with athletes of all levels from 17-70.
Specialist Coach; Weightlifting
Mehmed has been called the weights whisperer by one of our members and I think most will agree. Whether you are performing olympic lifts for the first time or are a regular weightlifter Mehmed has the knowledge, coaching eye and patience to ensure you progress to the next level. A former European Champion and multiple National Champion Mehmed has significant experience on the competitive scene. He has chosen CrossFit Evolving to host his weightlifting club and you will see him across the weekly schedule.
Coach (Specialties Nutrition)
Laura joined our Front of House Team/Assistant coaching team at Kilburn in the summer of 2017 as the next step in a budding career in the nutrition and fitness industry. Laura quickly completed her Personal Training qualifications and CrossFit Level 1 as well as an internal coaching development programme. She also continued to develop her knowledge in the field of nutrition and now regularly hosts nutrition seminars at the box. In busy classes Laura will regularly assist the lead coach to ensure you get the maximum coaching during your hour.
Grant was invited to join our team in March 2018 as we spotted that he shared our passion for fitness and CrossFit specifically. Previously a member at the box, having being introduced by a friend, Grant had already built a successful career in the fitness industry as a group and personal trainer. He joined our Front of House and Assistant Coaching team earlier this year and is developing his CrossFit coaching credentials to bring the most to your CrossFit sessions.
Rachel was one of the earliest members of the CrossFit Evolving Kilburn community back in 2013 whilst studying. Whilst her main focus and ambition is in the theatre, Rachel built a firm foundation in PT and CrossFit coaching having attended the first Evolving Coaches Development Programme in 2017 and completed both her CF-L1 and PT Level 3 qualifications. Having learned over the years how to protect her body from the rigours of dance and other training Rachel brings a lot to the class in terms of mobility and flexibility. She is currently on stage but can be seen as a regular cover coach.
